CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry is designed for students who want practical trade skills for residential and commercial construction settings. The course supports the development of core carpentry knowledge in tools, materials, measurements, setting out, framing, roofing, cladding, lining, formwork and workplace safety.
This qualification is suited to learners who want to build hands-on skills in a structured training environment while developing the foundation knowledge required for further study and future employment in the construction sector.
Pathways from the qualification: Learners who successfully complete this qualification may progress into, but are not limited to, CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction

Full time over 52 weeks.
The 52-week duration includes 4 weeks of holiday breaks.
Classroom sessions are scheduled for 20 hours per week.
Students are expected to complete guided learning activities and assessments during training weeks.
Delivery includes classroom sessions, guided learning, theory assessments completed at home, and simulated training in a practical workshop environment.

CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry allows direct entry at the time of publication on training.gov.au. Noble College of Education requires applicants to meet the following admission requirements to support successful completion of the qualification.

All international students, both onshore and offshore, are required to complete a Pre-Training Review including an LLND assessment to identify training needs, previous education or training, relevant work experience, and course suitability. This assessment may be conducted by video call or phone call.
Students must complete CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, or equivalent, before any construction site visits.
Students are expected to dedicate approximately 4 hours per week to guided learning during training weeks, excluding term breaks.
Noble College of Education will provide a PPE kit and safety boots before participation in workshop sessions.
Entry into the workshop without the required PPE and safety boots is not permitted.
Students should have a reasonable level of physical fitness, as practical tasks may involve standing for long periods, repetitive arm and hand movements, and working at heights.
